Either way, that first contract was never invalidated, and with the right moves, he was going to finally get his bride.
Tricks are nothing new for Lydia, and she shouldn't be surprised Beetlejuice laid a trap for her, but Richard was her saving grace. At least, she thought so. When Beetlejuice offers her 24 hours to think about it and she learns more about the Neitherworld, what Beetlejuice is offering, and reflects where she went wrong in her life?
